Leaders of the Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota gathered to honor community bankers who have volunteered their time to serve their industry.
“ICBM is a strong organization because so many successful community bankers give time, talent and monetary support,” said ICBM President and CEO Jim Amundson. “Thank you for your service to this association and for your service to the community banking industry.”
Amundson recognized Alvin Kooiman, First State Bank Southwest, who served as ICBM’s calling officer for four years. He retired from that position in August.
Amundson also recognized outgoing board members Shelly Steere, Grand Rapids State Bank, and Tony McLean, Border State Bank, Greenbush. The terms of both are up at the end of 2018.
